In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, a woman came to the service of the Prophet of Allah, Hazrat Dawud, peace be upon him, and asked, O Prophet of Allah, is your Lord just or unjust? So he is completely fair and just, he does not oppress anyone even in the slightest. What is your story? The woman began to tell her story
O Prophet of Allah, I am a widow. I have three little girls who I take care of by spinning yarn with my own hands. Yesterday I wanted to go to the market to tie my yarn in a red cloth and sell it so that I could provide food and drink for the girls with its income, but suddenly a bird fell on me and the piece of red cloth on which I It was tied with a thread and took it as a piece of meat.
I kept holding hands with the same regret and despair, now I have nothing to feed my girls. Right now the woman was narrating her story to Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) when there was a knock on her door. As soon as permission was granted, ten merchants entered one after the other, each with a hundred dinars in their hands. The merchants requested that the Prophet of Allah deliver these dinars of ours to those who deserve them
Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) asked them! What is the reason for presenting this property to me?
The merchants replied, Prophet of Allah, we were all on board a boat. By chance, a strong wind came which caused a hole in one side of our boat. Death was looming in front of us.
Now the water began to enter the boat rapidly, we had nothing to close the hole with. A huge bird came hovering over the boat and it had a red potli in its paw. We immediately closed the hole of the boat with it and threw out the water that entered it with our hands. After a while the storm subsided and thus we returned from the face of death. Now this charity money is in your hands. Give it if you want.
After hearing this story, Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) turned to this widow and said, "The Lord is doing business for you in the sea and the sea, and you are the one who is doing wrong?" Then you handed over that dinar to this lady and said! Go spend them on your girls
